The Business Of Teaching

Northside teachers visit BNCC member, Business Insurance Cover Services, during the 2020 Teacher Industry Days.

BNCC members are being asked to donate their time to assist northside high school teachers with their professional development.

Teacher Industry Days are an annual event and provide teachers with the opportunity to visit local enterprises and see first-hand how businesses are run.

Each visit to an organisation takes about an hour and typically involves a presentation or tour given by the business owner as well as an informal question and answer session.

This year’s industry days will be held on Monday 29 November for business teachers and Tuesday 30 November for IT teachers.

In previous years a number of BNCC members have taken part in the industry days with teachers visiting a range of businesses across the full spectrum of industry.

If your business can assist with volunteering to host northside teachers for an hour as part of 2021 Industry Days, we’d love to hear from you.
