5k Grants For Women In Business
Applications are open for the Lord Mayor’s 2022 Women in Business Grant.
The grant provides up to $5k (ex GST) for female business owners. Funds can be spent on a range of activities designed to help owners grow their businesses.
Example of what can be funded include marketing and branding services, financial literacy training and some business equipment.
Applicants must have an active ABN, be a woman in business with at least 50% ownership and an annual turnover between $75k and $500k. To be eligible your business must also have its HQ or outlets within the Brisbane City Council area.
The grant has been created to:
- Support women in business to thrive and grow with confidence
- Provide a business community of like-minded experts for networking and collaboration
- Boost the local economy through skill development and local buy.
Applications close at 4pm Thursday 3 November.
