Congratulations Julia
BNCC member Julia McCarthy has been awarded a 2023 Lord
Mayor’s Women in Business Grant.
As one of just 52 recipients of this year’s grant, the funding will help promote Julia’s new business, Choices to Age at Home.
Julia said she was humbled to be chosen amongst such an incredible field of female leaders and entrepreneurs.
“My new business is designed to help people stay at home as they get older. Choices to Age at Home assists older Australians and their families as they navigate the complex world of aged care.
“Having worked in the sector for 15 years, I saw a need in the market for a service that provides accurate, independent home care advice so people could make appropriate individual decisions for themselves or their loved ones. “
Julia will join Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner and other awards recipients at the celebration evening later this month. The funding is supported by the Lord Mayor’s Women in Business Grant through the Brisbane Economic Development Agency.
Be sure to look out for the Choices to Age at Home website, launching soon.
Congratulations Julia!
